This April & May, Fingask Castle plays host to the 30th season of the Fingask Follies, and what a way to mark the milestone. The Jest is History is a brand new musical revue that takes a gleeful romp through the ages, from smoke signals to AI and from Stonehenge to the Fingask Long Barrow. “They all laughed at Christopher Columbus, when he said the world was round” – Fingask Follies are looking forward to bringing you their 30^th (SIC!) extravaganza – a musical revue like no other: “The Jest is History”. Our ‘pearl’ anniversary will entertain you with a delightful exploration of ‘pearls’ of history – the art of communication from smoke signals to AI, transport from the ox to the Tesla, archeology from Stonehenge to the Fingask Long Barrow.

This professional company of singers, actors and musicians will send you home humming an old tune and thinking a new thought.

Entertaining enthusiastic audiences at the New Club, the London Sketch Club, The Travellers Club and the Lansdowne Club, not forgetting Kilkerran in Ayrshire, The Manor House in Northamptonshire and Abbey House in Norfolk.

The curtains have fallen on another successful Scottish season for the much-loved Fingask Follies. After entertaining audiences with their unique blend of music, comedy, and theatrical charm in their traditional Scottish home, the Follies are now packing up and preparing for their journey south. This marks the end of a delightful run that has once again brought joy and laughter to their dedicated Scottish following.

THE FINGASK FOLLIES end their 29th season at Fingask Castle on Sunday 11th May with a lunch time matinee with Pimms at noon
