Dear Gill,

I just wanted to thank you so much for our wonderful stay at Gean Tree cottage last week – what a lovely place, so welcoming with a lovely atmosphere and we enjoyed reading about the history of the estate.  Our stay was even more enjoyable thanks to the practical, friendly tone of all your literature and communications.  We had a truly relaxing time – sitting by the fire and wandering round the grounds, much needed after a chaotic few preceding weeks.  The weather was actually kind – being wet and wild when we were happy to stay in and be cosy, being dry on the two occasions we were out for a walk, and even being totally clear on the Tuesday night so we could admire the stars and Jupiter’s moons through Sandy’s new birthday telescope!  Sandy’s grandchildren visited us on Thursday and LOVED exploring the grounds – his granddaughter who is a wheelchair user managed a good roam in her off-road power chair, more than she expected I think.  We also managed to pick up a couple of wee treasures for our new house at the Rait Antique centre on our way home.

Thanks again – we won’t forget our stay and will certainly recommend Fingask to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.
