Sir Stuart’s is a modern house named after Sir Stuart Threipland, physician to Bonnie Prince Charlie. It stands close to Fingask Lake. There is a short walk to the car park over the Fingask burn via a stone foot bridge. The house has an entrance porch, a large open plan sitting/dining room with integral kitchen, and an en suite double bedroom (suitable for the mildly disabled) and a separate cloakroom & w.c.
Upstairs is a twin bedroom with adjacent bathroom, three further twin bedrooms en suite with shower, w.c. and basin; also a small sitting/TV room with two occasional single beds which overlook the lake.
Only let in conjunction with Sir Stuart’s House, the Bothy is a separate insulated wooden building to the rear of Sir Stuart’s, with a twin bedded en suite bedroom. TV and internet access. Ideal for youngsters.
