The Tufted Duck Eatery
We have teamed up with our friend Tim Hardie from the Tufted Duck in Rait. He will, with prior notice, provide good food at a reasonable price to guests staying at Fingask. It is a pleasant 8 minute walk between tall hedges and fields down the private Fingask back drive to the village - or a two minute drive to the eatery, where parking is available - follow the signs. Children most welcome.
Tim’s kitchen is small and modest: menus have to be pre-booked two days before you arrive. All you have to do is e-mail your choice of menu from the list below with the date and time of when you would like to eat.
Tim is not licensed to sell alcohol, so bring your own wine and beer. He will cool your drinks for you if you drop it off ahead of time. There is a small corkage charge of £1.50 for wine and 50p on beer bottles.
We find that at the end of a long journey the last thing parents want to do is sweat over a red-hot stove, especially one they are not used to!
