“An Apple a Day” Follies 2015 were deemed ” BETTER THAN EVER”
Putting new words to familiar tunes is the Follies speciality. “The Big Apple” gave “New York, New York” a topical slant. “Ah Yes I Remember It Well” was given a clever twist highlighting the fact that the song is about Alzheimers. “NHS Scotland” by Joe Gibbs was a witty political analysis of whither Scotland. Shouts of ENCORE greeted the tour from Fingask Castle to Balgray, Dunmfriesshire; Stevenson House, East Lothian; Thorpe Hall, Tamworth; L’Escargot/Kettners, Soho and the Chelsea Arts Clubs in London, where the sell out tour completed its run.
